What is meldunek (Meldunek)?
Meldunek (from Polish - Zameldowanie) - this is registration at the place of residence, necessary for state bodies to inform about the number of residents in a particular district / commune, as well as for simplified access to a citizen or foreigner.
There are temporary and permanent meldunek. According to the laws of Poland, foreigners who have been in the country for more than 3 months are required to have a meldunek.
To register a car, you need a meldunek for 3 months.

In each district of Poland there is a District Office (Urząd Dzielnicy), where you need to go for temporary registration.
Check with the owner of the property, or check on Google to see which district your place of residence belongs to. If you live in Warsaw, Wola district, then you need to go to Urząd Dzielnicy Wola.
The presence of the owner of the apartment is not necessary for registration of the meldunek, it is enough that your name is on the rental agreement. Then you can come to the office yourself and register the meldunek.
Required documents
Proof of legality of stay: a valid national visa, residence card or other proof of legality of stay;
Housing lease agreement (umowa najmu lokalu) or any other documents confirming your residence at a specific address (required for at least 3 months);
