Profile zaufany or ePUAP profile is a personal electronic signature that will allow you to resolve administrative issues online.

For example:

• Notification of the purchase or sale of a vehicle (zgłoszenie zbycia nabycia pojazdu);
• Signing contracts;
• Checking registered vehicles;
• Registration of a company;
• Calculation of PIT - income tax declaration;
• Obtaining certificates from government institutions (ZUS, Urząd stanu cywilnego, KRK, KRD, etc.);
• Obtaining a non-conviction certificate;
• Purchase of shares, companies, and bonds;

To create an ePUAP profile, you need a PESEL number.

To create a Zaufana Profile, follow these steps:

1. Registering an account:
Go to the ePUAP website and create an account by selecting "Załóż konto" and "Zarejestruj się".
Fill in the form, agree to the processing of personal data and pass the CAPTCHA. If you do not have a PESEL number, click "Nie posiadam numeru PESEL". After that, an ePUAP account will be created for you, but the Zaufana Profile will not be created yet. If you have a PESEL number, the system will offer to create a trusted profile immediately after entering it.

2. Receiving a Zaufana Profile:
Log in to the ePUAP account you created, then click on your profile in the upper right corner. Select "Profil zaufany" and click "Złóż wniosek o profil".
Enter your first name, last name, PESEL, phone number and email address.
In the next window, enter the code you will receive via SMS.

3. Verification of the Zaufany Profile:
You can verify your profile in several ways: using a qualified digital signature, video communication or online banking. Remember that you have 14 days to verify. If the period expires, you do not need to register again - just repeat the application for creating a profile.

If you plan to confirm your data via online banking, you must have an account in one of the accredited banks. The list of such banks is available on the registration website.
We recommend that you check with your bank whether it is possible to obtain a Zaufany Profile. If so, select "Usługi" in the bank's online service, then "Profil zaufany", enter your data and the code from the SMS. This method is the most convenient, since it does not require visiting the office or issuing an electronic key.

If you do not have an account in a Polish bank, you can confirm your data in person at special points, the list of which is also available on the website.

1. Select the verification method in the "Video meeting/Video recording" section.
2. Set a date for the video meeting and install a special application on a device with a camera and microphone.
3. Wait for confirmation of the recording and the application number.
4. You will be called and given the application number, which must match the one specified earlier. After that, you will receive a link for the video call.
5. During the meeting, the data will be checked again, you will need to provide an identity document.
6. If everything goes well, the verification is complete.

The created Zaufana Profile will be valid for three years, after which it can be extended for the same period.
